Sharm el Sheikh

At the southernmost tip of the Sinai Peninsula, where the gulf of Suez meets the gulf of Aqaba, we find Sharm el Sheikh, one of the most popular destinations for scuba divers and sun-worshippers of the Red Sea Riviera. Sharm el Sheikh is home to some of the world's greatest reef dives, Shark and Yolanda reef, in the Red Sea’s Ras Mohammed National Park. At the same time, this stunning coastal town has a very strong nightlife heart, offering great clubbing and excellent dining, and has become one of the busiest and liveliest towns of the Red Sea Riviera. Dozens of flights land daily in Sharm el Sheikh the whole year round, bringing in thousands of holiday makers who keep on coming over and over again.

Conservationists and scientists have termed the Red Sea in Egypt one of the seven wonders of the world, and that, combined with the beauty of rugged coast and stunning mountain range, makes of Sharm el Sheikh a dream holiday destination. Only a short boat trip away, the Straits of Tiran are covered with exciting dive sites that promise an extraordinary glimpse of turtles, sharks, pelagic fish and wrecks. A few hours from the coast of Sharm the world famous World War Two wreck, the Thistlegorm, waits to revel its treasures to the curious diver. Not far away, many other interesting historical sites and natural attractions make for interesting daily excursions.

Sharm el Sheikh's entertainment industry is growing rapidly and now the busy resort town is host to several international entertainers, casinos, clubs and bars, putting the town on the map as a prime entertainment destination in the Red Sea Riviera. Desert parties in awe-inspiring locations are a fabulous way to experience the beauty of Sinai.
